I am a climate scientist and science communicator, currently teaching both topics at the University of Melbourne. I’m passionate about rescuing and analysing old weather data because it’s fascinating, and because learning about past climate will help us understand what the future will hold.
In 2017 and 2018 I worked as a climatologist and climate scientist at the Australian Bureau of Meteorology. From late 2014 to 2017 I was a Senior Researcher at the Centre for Climate Change at Universitat Rovira i Virgili in southern Catalonia. Before that, I completed a PhD at The University of Melbourne.
This website contains links to scientific publications and presentations, as well as occasional blog posts on historical climatology, working in Spain, and general science and research things.
